Formula One Austin picks president

Former Churchill Downs Entertainment President and CEO Steve Sexton was picked to lead the local Formula One United States Grand Prix management team.Sexton, also former president of the Churchill Downs racetrack, assumed the same position with Formula One Austin on Feb. 18. Organizers have planned a $250 million, 3.4 mile track and associated development in Austin for races beginning in 2012.
